I am very excited to be the Vice Principal of Artesian Drive Public School. I bring to this position a dedication to life long learning and student success as well as a commitment to creating and maintaining equitable, respectful and inclusive environments for working and learning.

I have been an educator for over 22 years. During that time I have welcomed into my school and classroom children from over thirty countries, speaking more than fifty languages. I have worked with children from Junior Kindergarten through to High School both here in Canada and abroad. My experience has taught me that all children can be successful and that we all have a lot to learn from the people around us. In fact many of my most valuable lessons in life have come from the children!

As an experienced educator, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work within a highly effective professional learning community to support children. The staff at Artesian set high expectations for themselves and students creating an environment where everyone can achieve to the very best of their abilities. It is a great pleasure to work in a school that values honesty, integrity, flexibility and the acceptance of others.

Finally, it brings me great joy to have the chance to work with you, our community. Together we can develop an open, honest communication and build a partnership that can make a difference for your children. It has been said a million times but I believe it is true, “together we are better”.
